There are a variety of sports activities at Gower House.
The Under Fives have their own play area outside with climbing equipment, grass and safety surfaces. Physical activities are part of the Under Five Curriculum.
Older children swim weekly from the age of six and also have a weekly P.E lesson.
Sports and P.E
Children from the age of five years enjoy a sports and P.E. lesson each week. The lessons are taught by specialist teachers who visit the school.
Children learn basic ball and athletic skills before progressing to games of football, hockey, rounders and cricket according to the time of year. Children wear the school tracksuit for their activities.
Apart from learning new skills and developing fitness, these lessons enable the children to extend their own abilities and to gain in self confidence.
